He meets her, She meets everyman
By Rebel tiGer King
It starts simple, A hello
The connection of two looks across the way
They cement the begining of a new chase
Cat and Mouse
Because the world is not a fairytale
Raw passion knows no doctrines
It's:
Dirty
Raw
Uncut
Then one day it hits you
You realize that freedom is attainable
But it isn't always pretty
Sometimes the soul just wants a new fuck
Things can get ordinary
Things can become stale and die, but freedom
Freedom of the soul is accepting the fact
That sometimes things can get boring
Life gets gray, and it's up to you
To reignite that fire.

Great to see a new piece from you! The lines "Things can get ordinary Things can become stale and die, but freedom Freedom of the soul is accepting the fact That sometimes things can get boring" hold a tremendous amount of truth... You often hear someone going on about how boring their relationship has gotten, or how "stale" and "smothered" they are feeling...which is a focus on an external factor. Sometimes it IS an external factor that is making someone unhappy...but often, it is something they actually have control over in terms of attitude and initiative. I am reminded of a quote by Hemingway, "You can’t get away from yourself by moving from one place to another," which could be altered to "from one relationship to another". Excellent piece, glad to see you posting again! Ciao, T/S

There is a sadness in this reflection. The soul yearns, it grows, strives, succeeds, and can hunger for more.

I think there's a whole lot of sad truth in this. Kind of like a confession for anyone who chooses to "give in to temptation" - for lack of a better phrase. Enjoyed the read, thanks for sharing it.
