Victorian Contrasts

By lupus tenebrae

Your Victorian, regal white,
offset by the rocks and rebar,
the contrast of asphalt and crabgrass,
and the harmony
of locusts and church bells.

To love, is to love personified,
to open up a single glimpse,
staring back with many eyes,
then corkscrewing,
falling through the skyline.

The grace of low gravity,
is yours to command,
crashing through the mirrors
of amours and eyelids,
and at rest, your warm inertia,

gives way to a cooler, quieter lodging.

That warm inertia comes from the exothermic release of kinetic energy. Nicely done Miss (HA)! - (from the other day) - guessing no lady knows rebar like we do, cheers Wolfie!

I know, what was with that? I guess my work should include 90% more Daisy Dukes and explosions to reaffirm my masculinity. Thanks, Dan. Scholar
