i want this to hurt.

By elisa

even a simple surface cut is felt with extreme

as flesh makes a distinct sound when it tears
with a lingual pain
of single cell screams in separation

open a vein of communication
and
listen to the thick voice of agony
.
hidden deep in the mind
is a running memory of mothers brutal existence

caught in the cold
steel blades of every scissor division
ripped from her insides
[out]

her mind tries to rationalize the fray wire connection
this is 'life'
...still her body struggles not to let go

.
.

eventually, the ache will break her down
killing her womb - decades before her suffering brings death
to an end [in her] never beginning...again.

some woman never recover from postpartum depression.....i've stuggled to understand why.......she was grieving the loss of her own life.....like the birth of the baby left a void that could never be filled.....if that makes any sense..
