Playful Sprigs Of Maple
By lupus tenebrae

jostles the underbrush
from its cozy, earthen home:
rain, seized like dewdrops
by playful sprigs of maple
wafting in an errant breeze,
subservient to interpretive dance

I like the allusion to interpretive dance! The rain has sure been making the leaves dance on the east coast this summer, holy cow! Ciao, T/S

This is pretty awesome reminds me of when I was a kid and all the little helicopters from the maple trees would fly all over the place when it rained or the wind blew... awesome job!
