Fathomless Sky

By lupus tenebrae

You stand here, your silhouette
a triumph of refraction,

facets not yet marred by
the burden of grasping infinity,

your still ambitious gaze
affixed to the fathomless sky,

dead set on pursuing the
horizon 'til you tire

of shooting for the distant stars
