Dereliction and Divine

By lupus tenebrae

Dereliction and Divine

Withering and rustling
a wildflower song

found clasping in imperfect knots,
with nightshade
seeing spots

of alleyway
beneath the creeping moss.

The lyrics of a distant wind chime,
match what’s written here;

the hieroglyphs between the cracks
of dereliction and divine.

    Looks like a clump of thistles to me, and the title was worthy of the denouement, cheers and Happy Easter Wolfie.

  • A former member wrote: great easter scenery in this one, just kidding, this poem clearly defies the need to conform.
