Technicolor Bells

By lupus tenebrae

All their Technicolor dreams,
their every bell and whistle,
can barely lift my spirits.

Collapsed, shoulders slumping slightly,
perched in their window, pondering,
all their Technicolor dreams.

Ink wells, not quite fresh enough,
sputter from the tap, amazed at
their every bell and whistle.

The bubblegum pop, tonight,
that made the 90’s infamous,
can barely lift my spirits.
