Shadow Pen

By lupus tenebrae

 



Shadow pen,
write in one dimension
and tell of our time together;

marriage betwixt the wall and isolation rooms,
beating the mule, dead, until conversations stopped.

Instead, we felt a little hollow,

much like the words you see
from the heart.
