Small Town Stripes

By lupus tenebrae

Look through static tiger stripes
akin to slits of mirror stripes.

Little boys in blue and gold
may grow their orange coloured stripes.

Sunset’s many synonyms
can show their violet, proper stripes.

The leaves like autumn parchment
make use of ink in former stripes

Small talking tenebrous shades
can yield a poet’s arbor stripes.
