By Rebel tiGer King

And then i felt the hands strike midnight
Like a levee on a vinyl symphony my heart broke
Not in a traditional way of course
You are anything but

So you soaked up my existance
Like the stars soak up the night
Only we never thought to ask the sun
If it needed sleep, like we did

Our words spoken soft thru razor wire
You held me close that night
Thru sweaty sheets
We made the same conclusion

Daylight became irrelevant
To these blind eyes
Struck by your prose
Those gods, had fallen

Victims to wind trickery
Stone broken by a trickle
Yet vividly these pebbles dance away in streams
To the safety of your pillow
