Penny for my Thoughts

Wishing well of lesser magic,
capturing the fallen stars.

Shining like a tithe of copper,
like a lighthouse by the bay.

As the heavens turn their back,
my attention turns to you.

Beacon for a hapless dreamer,
waiting for a wish on cue.
