Lead Curtain Over You

By lupus tenebrae

To watch the moth go up in flame,
you drape lead curtains everywhere,
through ember spots and fibrous eyes.
Do you watch my touch beware?

Beware the flame, that ate the moth,
prepare the curtains as a shroud,
dare the heart, in eulogy, and
stare horizons into clouds.
