Reunion of Locusts

By lupus tenebrae

They fly as one, then come and go.
They shed the skin, of seasons past.
The hum of flight, it tingles so,
they chirp their song again, at last.

A song akin to summer rain,
and rolling greens of sweet refrain.
A serenade to call the swarm,
and reunite the new reform.

*Repost* It's that time of year, but there's a disturbing lack of chirping now. Still, this rispetto rings true.
