Web of Circuitry

By lupus tenebrae

Your face, a one-way mirror
searching strangers for a smile

your touch, a web of circuitry
through paper-thin veneer

your skin's an azure phantom
I feel brush against my cheek

and your song's a shrill reminder
that you'll never disappear.
