Empty knights (mirror inside me)
By knightmirror
Desolate, desserted, empty, alone
isolated, abandoned, this is our throne
darkness dwells everywhere here
take our hands there's nothing to fear
journey with me through thick and thin
clear skies fogging our eyes
with clouded perceptions on dreams
becoming hazy everytime we fall asleep
this is where we'll begin
how everything turns into truthful lies
sheets slit with soft screams
shredding all that we protectively keep
admist all the pain in the world you know
violent acts of rage is all you can show
safely in your bed how dare you sleep
it is this realm that Knight and Empty creep
your dreams are not just nightmares of pretend
its the reality we made for your inevitable end
you awake cringing and you think your nightmares through
that's just a taste of what we have in store for you
stripping your fears down to dopelmines
placing the particles in order as we rip it apart
trapping screams in beakers over hot flames
watching them writhe in their own pain
reacting the already destined scenes
then analyzing them keeping records on a chart
beside question marks instead of names
as numerous as every drop in the rain
think thats the end well guess again
we have more in store for you my friend
we slice off your eyelids with dull razorblades
so you have to see it all are you afraid
tiny little slits all over your skin
we light you on fire from deep within
deep within your own mind
and so far we are being far to kind
as we fold your inverted tears like
laundry your pain is creased
ao it's easier for you to retain
all the hate that'll keep you
alive like a child riding a trike
with skinned knees released
as blood flows against the grain
dripping dreams into a stew
now you think in excess pain:
"is this real or am I insaine
why must I be tortured so
and when will they let me go:
we'll let you go when hmmm I'll say never
your trapped in our dark realm forever
and we torture you for sheer amusement and fun
now come on Knight put down that gun
use something that will hurt much deeper
you got it now, yeah use that cleaver
i just can't control myself
i can't refrain from peeling your skin
back to watch your blood flow
without spilling a drop
i will then place you on a shelf
then with another dream i'll start again
too bad for you you didn't know
too bad you can't tell me to stop
especially since i cut out your tounge
and amputated your legs so you can't run
and yet we cant give all of our secrets away
so the rest of your nightmare is for another day
another line of another poem
time for us to claim our throne
were kings on high we can hear your lies
and you became what we most despise
pleasant words are for pleasant men
and you have nothing deep within
but beware
cause slowly but surely
we're making our way there

awesome. an unexpected vision of demise, crafted of our own hands. the invasion of sanity and peace.... As I've said, the war of good and evil is a silent war, waged on the battlefield of our minds.
