Bleeh Blah Blibbity

By Poetic-Realm

where do these
orbs of light come from,
where is their home?
Im lost within these
tangling notes
that swiftly sweep
every last known foamy floor.

I have begun to recede now,
that tiny spotted light
within my closed eyes
speaks of eternity,
I am never going
to understand this all.

Who came out of these walls
and spoke of slipping servers,
who could have even hoped
to be anything more
than the chariot of the mind
we have called upon.

We are all going to die and we are okay with it.
Heaven is so close to our front door its astounding,
its astounding that we have drifted deeply into this.
We all know of ascension, we hear it in the ambience,
the ironic clashings within a singular existence
being a grain of sand upon the shoreline.

Weeding out all of these lifted furies,
how can we not be nothing more than
what we perceive within those
dark corners of our forgotten dreams.

How many hallways do you not remember?
those faces? can you even fathom what you are?
Can those guiding eyes say anything about this place,
this ruin of beauty this forgotten song we still are left to humm.
We don't even have the lyrics anymore,
only the hum the slow contact of lips to teeth
and we cry, oh yes we cry as we speak
and it becomes so loud,
you can taste how loud it is
as it reverberates
and we die, oh yes we die
we die within a million tired breaths
of our graves laughing at us and our little stories.
and we dance, oh yes we dance
with our ancestors as they speak in foreign tongues
but hug still the same,

we're so lost
and tormented
and loved within.
This thing we call us
is growing steadily as its unwinding.

We have allowed the evils
of the serpent eating itself
like a rabid disease of a pale beauty

we're all enchanted by the same whore
and we don't even know her name.
What a masquerade, a gimmick to dive into
a luxurious ballad of your name screamed loud
while mine stays whispered.

How could we move,
how could we grow,
how could we know a word
or even a phrase.
Arbitrary,
all I could ever hope to know,
is where I go when I dream,
what world that is,
and how I can own it.

I'm nothing more than you,
reverted, twisted,
shaped into me.

A prose that covers many emotions that humans wade or swim through. Maybe versions of each other as those around help to shape us, like a fragmwnt of rock in transportation. X
