My Word

By Mr King

An entire world is mastered with...
Committment...
Responsibility...
And Integrity...
To my word which I make bond.

For although the road of life is rocky...
My word is my boots.

And although life is full of vicious stones and arrows...
My word is my shield.

And although my mind is prone to wander....
My word is my helmet.

And although emotions are fickle and fleeting...
My word is my foundation.

And although the world is passing away...
My word remains forever.

One's word is definitely something that is less valued these days! Yet I still believe that some still hold true to their words. I commend you for this write. A man's integrity is based upon his word. Awesome. *applause* Julia~
