By Drifter

dial the numbers
today's the day
i watch it fall
to dirt and clay

pain and sorrow
anger and hate
expeirence the love
a war can create

we come together
when we fall apart
wave bye to peace
time to depart

we come together
not quite seeing why
those buildings burn
why these people fry

"We the people"
are fucking morons
we still cant see
after all that went on

We cause our pain
with greed and desire
so burn all your gods
in the smoldering fire

ashes to ashes
dust to dust
dollar to dollar
father to son

So the rhyme was fantastic, and in all it was a good piece. Have to give respect where it's due. Although, I could never read it a second time. As Charlotte said, we have two totally different views.

Loved it..loved it..loved it!! Tight rhythm, smooth flow and a brilliant message to wake up and seek the truth and do something about it. Carl

Read this again. You say exactly what I wanted to say about 9/11 without getting anywhere near over-wrought. Fantastic.

I like this. It's fast and doesn't fuck around with the point. It's not condeming just...laying it out. Yeah, this is something to come back to.

The quick, start and stop design of this poem is neat to follow. You've done a great job with it. As far as content goes, our veiws are apparently too far apart for me to find any agreeable thing to say about it. ~JMDW~
