Harvesting Hurt From a Heavy Heart

Infatuation
Blossoms like rose petals in morning's light
Stretching
Up,over,and beyond horizons seen
Complication
Insists this is real and I must fight
Fetching
Courage to tend to all emotions with gangrene
Before they become the death of me
Lying on a stretcher made from clouds above
Conjuring up energy creating content
Sollutions to dillemas concerning this love
struggling to keep it from being sent
Before rejection becomes a tree
Paralyzed with passion
Savoring
Emotions you spilt from your beautiful soul
Trying
To be chivalrous and soak up every liquid shard
Favoring
You,shining bright, held captive in doubts coal

Hoping my tears can heal your smile that's charred
I wish to be
A paralyzed tree
Spreading eternal glee
That you will always be able to see
Harvesting your heart

This is of me. I would rather die than be with one taken, and yet I found my Eternal Love in the heart of Taken~ness. Two years I sorrowed, held myself from His gaze to respect that which was...and then, when I had given up all hope, His broken castle crumbled and He was left in the ashes of new beginning...and in time, cultured as a shell cultures a pearl, mine. Aptly captured, this.

a wonderful dreamy piece...the first stanza is particularly well written - I really like the structure and emphasis on words. The ending is great. Fox
