Open asylum door

By diavolessa

Leaving, leaving us
Thinking “Forever”
From what was your, mine, ours
From what is our madness
Loving, menacing, remembered
With startling eyes

My precious madman
I love you
Although I never talk
Although you never talk
And abide you I can’t
And abide me you can’t
But this is a myth
We never look into each others eyes
Since without hating,
This is the cause
To love until madness
Smiling idiotically
While, on my cheeks
Tears come down
just Tears

My comrades
Which leave desolately,
In our unique asylum,
With staring eyes
At a fix mind
Only one simple idea
That was never seen, that was never found
Which will never be seen, will never be found

Leave, dissolve, renounce
Place to place, state to state
Oh, what a dreary dream
From our madness
In the hours of sunset
When nostalgia comes

'
'
'

What sadness
Striped walls
Walls that put a barrier to the horizon
Leaving an unending sky above

'
'

Round midnight sobbing stops
Someone is talking to themselves
No matter where we are
Our madness is enough

I don't know if I absorbed the entire meaning behind this piece, but from what I relate, you must have opened your eyes to something that you were previously blind to.

What I can't pick up is whether the madness is good or bad. Maybe that's part of the allure to this piece. Nice work.

    yay! that was my point. The madness is what keeps 'them/her' company, yet it remains just an illusion of the mind... thanks for reading it! :) {dia}
