"when the roses are in bloom"

By haunted

a beloved picture fades
i found her mourning deep
a cemetery in the dark
with all the sorrow she keeps

the decay of a lonely life
flowers wilted with care
roses fade to black
roots become bare

eternal marble plantedĀ
thorns shrine his stone
eyeliner slowly bleeds
when she reflects all alone

obsessions from the past
just sadness and dread
as she imagines her life
being peaceful when dead

she dyed her hair black
a face pale with no sun
she's so beautiful inside
when her eyeliner runs

for the night it casts shadows
amongst the graves lies her love
fallen angels embrace her
angels weep from above

air becomes chilly
a supernatural breeze
her lover has returned
for the sorrow he sees

she comes with the sadness
a broken heart that won't mend
she can't accept his death
because his dying don't end

she comes here for a reason
to see the angels in flight
to see the roses bloom
with her lover in the night
