My Moonlight

By lupus tenebrae

my nyctophobic mind; staying 'til

my nightly
fears diminish into dream
departing, with embrace,
for the dawn.

I don't like admitting this, but because of the nature of my past abuse, I have a crippling fear of the dark, but there's one person I think of every night that brings me enough comfort to rest easily until morning.
