Stained Glass, Sullied With Age

By lupus tenebrae

Stained glass, sullied with age,
still feigns the pallet
of its prismatic past,

shimmering in steadfast
denial of its obvious
antiquity like an old

serpent that clings to its garish
leather as if it were still
an inherent threat.
