affections architecture

By knightmirror

my soul's taste buds
crave delectable freedom
they have never tasted
the structure
of your love

my body yearns to be embraced
suffocating in the aura of loneliness
it's an extraordinary energy
that has chiseled
its way out

of a stone prison

yet these years
have rewarded me with
experience and wisdom
I grow stronger

I get closer

I battle myself constantly

I overcome

I cherish the presence
of the imagination in truth
revealed in the truth
of imagination

the light switch
switches the light
into
lightswitches
of lights witches

decorate the night
in coded tracers
encoded
in coated
courage

healing the fog
stealing a glimpse
savoring the glance

of a thousand smiles
and not one
goodbye
