Slimming in Grey Heels

A wrapping of laces and flowers
from the unknown in the dark,
don’t kiss and tell, as it serves you well,
so simple, as a walk in the park.

The candy, once tasting of satin,
once tricking the tongue to slip,
as it serves you well, don’t kiss and tell,
don’t drink of her, not even a sip.

Yet don’t be a jumper, thrice daring
waves into hasty retreat,
don’t kiss and tell, as it serves you well;
on the grey heels of diving concrete

Since I've always had an aversion to the original piece, I decided to revamp it just for Valentine's Day. So, this no longer reflects my outlook, though, you shouldn't need one day to tell someone how much you love them.
