You said...

By Aurora_Light

You said you'd never leave me,
That you'd never go away.
You said you'd always be here,
That you'd always stay.
You said you'd lead me through the forest,
On those dark and lonely nights.
You said I was your lighthouse,
In those dreaded and stormy days.
You said I was your angel,
That kept you in the right.
You said a lot of things,
Especially on those nights.
But you up and left me,
You left without a word.
I had no one to lead me,
On those dark and lonely night.
I had no light to guide me,
To a harbor safe and sound.
But I guess you could be my angel,
Up in heaven were you sit.
Please dear cousin remember me,
And never let me quite.
