The Eternal Movement...
By diavolessa
I walk alone
Though noises of unknown people
In a freezing morning
With a sick mind
I loose myself to extraneous thoughts
Movements of the soul
Regrets of conscience
I am surrounded
Doubts and insecurities
Lost games of faith
Hope and dreams that lack answers
In life that’s just a journey
A search to the infinite
But never the same
I observe the gestures of an infant
A little girl is poignant; he is not to be found
I see the lust on an old man’s face
As he continues his walk
Understand this world never stops
In an eternal movement
I see love turning a key
My heart melts to the truth of life
But for I am too little, unable to understand
This love is a wave and I just a rock
This love lives in me, but I can’t touch it
I see the city lights wrapping me
Inside a fine, frenzy sleep
With its stores and people
All waiting in the unknown
All of the sudden he comes to us
Caresses the soul
I wake up and see
The eternal movement of love
