  • "Reading this through again with yours and Narcissa's comments and interpretation, added a whole new dimension to this work for me. As when I wrote it I intended the title as in, You can't teach an old dog new tricks - There are some lovers that get past your defenses and once they're there you can't then learn to not feel for them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts its so enlightening to see others responses to my work"

  • "This is so in your head in a chaotic, instant snap shot kind of way, its an amazing write as it follows through without loosing focus but at the same time not seeming edited or forced "

  • "Due to my lack of musical ability I tend to find it really hard to read lyrics, but this I really liked, particularly the chorus, it seems a really raw honest write. Good work!"

  • "A very perceptive piece, with a smile worthy sprinkling of dry wit, I especially liked 'In our own ways we're all just jerking off the weekend, trying to make it come faster.' and the clock image at the end "

  • "Awesome write, I remember years ago when I lived at home & I used to post here I was terrified my mum would read my work, she would have freaked. Now I'm all grown up and still no-one I really know reads my work, I guess I'm still scared they'll belittle it...hmm"

  • "No I don't think I'm remotely pure, but sometimes I wake up an optimist and a romantic. But more often I crave experience and give no thought to morals."

  • "You take such vivid images that I would think could never make a poem of love and mold them into a truly beautiful love poem, an amazing talent and an amazing piece"
