Be Happy 2-Day

By knightmirror

i'm still trying
to be the father that mine was never for me
but it's really hard
since what i miss most,is our daily dance
i'm still crying
to clear all the pain out,so i can eventually
unite every shard
therefore, creating a duplicate of my last stance

where i remember tears of joy,
and smiles out of the blue,
clear skies harboring rainy days,
and seas of love washing pain away
but,
most importantly,i remember you

i'll still write
eventhough you're still to young to read
but i'm pretty sure
by the smell of this paper, you'll know it's Dad
i'll still fight
to be a part of your life,no matter how much i bleed
to see your smile so pure
and big beautiful ocean blue eyes, how could anyone be sad?

don't forget your my

Darling
Angel
Promising
Heaven
Near
Everyone

I too was deeply touched by the line that purr quoted. This was so sad and poignant, yet so beautiful. These words prove what a dedicated father you are. Gorgeous work. ~L

"but i'm pretty sure by the smell of this paper, you'll know it's Dad"... this is a really touching line in a very touching piece... Daphne will love this when she's no longer too young to read, i'm sure. :)
