Triptych III: Rheinherz in Flammen

By purr_verse

I am in love.

The mountains are on orchestrated fire
and my soul burns to match them;
lunarlit, stardancing, quick-skip
with a lick of liquorlascivious legends
as any/everywhere magics
echo joyperfectly with the laughter
of t.his phantasmaglorious place,
deity-certain in t.his knowledge,
and t.his river
of marvellous mythistories
whispers a codex subbaritone wash:
"I
Am
Legend, and
I
Am
Real."

:in flames:

Recumbent tipsy on the bank,
I am consumed
by a searing, absolute desire,
and I would die for this.
I would
die for you

:in flames:

but I am enslaved to another -
one whose kiss I barely feel
one whose visage fails to sing to me
one whose history
is not mine.

I am far from home tonight,
so here is my heart,
Father Rhein...

(in flames i feel more than,
and more than...)

..viridian splendour and 5am riesling
magnificent beauty the Lorelei song
pulsing soaring resplendent
with eaglewinged power
I fall into rapture
complete: uncontrolled
I would die for you yesterday
These mountains of mistlands
(oh) surely a dream
To your castles in rhapsodies
I'm breathless and emerald
enChanted
by divinedark perfection
serene enigmatic
Endless dramatic
subsisting
and under and under
your story
Cry
- drown me in glory -
In tears for this fantasy
existing, existing...

:in flames:

Wake
blink
breathe
and .slip.
.stream.
my spirit remaining always
and never,
never:
forever
brazen emblazoned
and heartsworn to an ensorcelled master
who is bound to burn me
and burn me
unrequited.

This somnambulist
still walks through fire for you,
and
I have dreamt over and over
under and under

(more than
and more than...)

my soul in/fidelity
to the truth of this

green

fire.

liquorlascivious? a codex subbaritone wash?(where does my envy end?) and the symbols still burst like flames of the fire - more than and more than - purification through this amaze and drowned in its timeless glory

drunk on desire (and a hint of white) imagining the play of flames through the glass dancing / reflected off the river - painfully bliss kissed with certainty's revelation of inconsolable distance - all bound in together/ness

And still the city becomes, we become it - the flames are within and imprint on the very walls, no need for maps - for one navigates here by heart alone...even in sleep reaching, waiting - aflame...brilliant natalie, just brilliant

yep , you sure do scratch a mean chicken - i'd trade my banjo for a tryptych IV --- funguy -- sorry , you've heard all the beautiful comments before - this was all that was left

  • A former member wrote: 'I would die for you yesterday' You have sunk into the exotic flesh of poetry w/ this the third in your 'Triptych' compositions. The quote as simple is all the more delicately balanced, exquisite; genuine. 'I fall into rapture'...

  • A former member wrote: 'The mountains are on orchestrated fire' You have done it; you've architected the beauty complete in this your orchestration of a hidden land which mine eyes now see, 'and my soul burns'...
