I have betrayed
my true self
speaking
in the rain
for the knight
outlined and rusting
on the otherside of the mirror
chalking every dent in my armor


here-in lies the problem within
this revelation

homesick to speak once again from my castle
in confidence and courage


my emotions are welling-up
blistering the belief that
blossomed the
begining


this can't and won't be the end
of years of education


I engraved and embraced knowledge
of the unknown sharing all I know


NOW ALL I KNOW


is I've become a stranger to myself
weakened and vulnerable


so here I stand ashamed to admit
dealing deceiving dreams


the line has been drawn


a rushing river of ink returns
to the rightful writer
in the kingdom
of knowing
