surrender in 5.7.5.

By purr_verse

My words fell asleep
so I wandered in search of
glades of new brilliance

I quested for form;
seeking sonnets and wildsong
in wordforests but

cinquain and quatrain
teased elusive and wilful;
I could not dance and

on my poetry
expedition I just sank
into mere hike ooze.

    Very clever indeed. the idea of "seeking sonnets and wildsong in wordforests" is the most amazing thing i've ever heard to describe how i feel on far too few occasions but certainly HAVE felt. I love it. Most definitely. --Jes

    "...he ending 4" ARGH! Bugger! I can't add. *sob* Dammit, I have to fix that. I'll come back when I've grown a clue. Thank you, though - now THAT is constructive criticism, lol.
