The American Dream

By Mr King

I.

America uses domination and violent forceful
oppression to control the world.

She is presently the aggressor, not the defender.

This is why She can never succeed on Her present course.

America creates more enemies the more She continues
to aggressively oppress, control, attack, and wage war.

America thinks She can win Her war.

But the more America is the source of war on the world,
the more She will only reap war back upon Herself.

And war never truly has a winner.

II.

The only way out of Vietnam was to get out.

The only way out of Iraq is to get out.

Sometimes when you give up, you win.

America just re-elected the one man who will
never give up, get out, nor admit failure.

Sometimes when you win, you lose.

I agree with the point of this as well. Interesting arguement you two had. I find it difficult to have these kids over there, some just getting out of High school. To be honest I find this war to be pointless. But I will never say we should not have d

I do not see Iraq as a Vietnam. War never has a winner? So we should never stand up against anything? What about against the Nazi regime in WW2? -Michael

Ask the American families of those who lost family members in WWII if America really won WWII? In that context, this is what I mean. War should always be the last resort. That's what I mean. Peace, Seth

I agree with what you are saying then.. it was just was not presented that way. Actually I have known people who have lost their children in wars.. and they are proud that their children had gone to fight.. some things are worth dying for.. -Michael

Good point... still aggression is not self-defense... is not right... is evil... we as a country are so far gone from the humane and righteous possibilities... aggression (get them before they get us) looks like a solution to us...

In the case of terrorists.. I say it is.. because they will attack someone.. whether it be the US or someone else.. in this case.. it IS better to get them first. Just like a raid on a crack-house before they start selling -Michael

Self defense I am not against... Being a terrorist and creating more and more terrorists I am against... Also, realize that some of those who we label as terrorists believe that they are defending themselves from us, the terrorists...
