  • "Those who soar highest, fall hardest (just read something similar in a Corinthian poem). Hoping that this was cathartic and you can now turn around in the saddle and dig those spurs in deeply!"

  • "Welcome back, you have been greatly missed, and reprising many of your old titles was quite an inspiration. We all live on the same roller coaster, just in different cars, thanks Sean!"

  • "The sleep of serenity only comes when the world bears less on our weary shoulders - whenever that may be. Meanwhile, endeavor to perservere lad, cheers to you!"

  • "My darlings are more precious than your darlings! But then maybe that could just be me too? The characters can break down when age takes its toll, and the old become fearful of the Glorious End, or also if too frail to shoulder burdens. Much enjoyed the positive message in summation - cheers pal!"

  • "Sounds like a tough crowd! I told my wife today that I should read some of my poetry at the retirement home that we just moved her mom into yesterday. It would be a welcome break from the show tunes that are always being sung by the Broadway wannbees, circa 1960. Wifey told me I only had about 8 in my repetoire of 300+ that might be suitable. Oh well, let's just relax and hear another rendition of "Mame". This was great Sean, sorry for the soliloquy, cheers!"

  • "Older and wiser and a sad tale you tell. Some people love to wallow in self-inflicted misery, if you slip up momentarily, in keeping them constantly amused. This brought back memories, cheers mate!"

  • "Curious piece that had me riveted to a surprise ending, not completely unexpected. Well-crafted and wholly original. By the way, what is the caliber of God's Gun and does he use hollow points like the 2 million more rounds that Homeland Security just ordered to keep us in line? But I digress - cheers Sean!"

  • "Bastardom - genius! Really enjoyed this sad tale of two people perhaps who shared much but were doomed from the start and now share a one-sided secret maybe? This was great and I can relate. Thanks man."
