Magic Word

By Sean Mc Shane

What's the Magic Word ?
well all words are, aren't they ?
they are to me
especially when I hear Her say . . .
       " Hi "
followed by my name
and that reflex smile
it's never the same
and always lasts awhile

Although, to be totally honest
I would have to simply say
the Magic Word is Her name
it moves me in such a way

I know that sounds quaint
it may even come off kind of lame
but let me ask you this
have you ever heard Her say your name ? . . .

                In rolling radiant dreamscapes ? . . .
In bedroom Chambers on Phantasy nights ? . . .
In cynical realms of forgotten Fairy Tales ? . . .
In my mind, in moments of Intimate Delight  ? . . .

And if you have
you know exactly what I'm saying
but I know you haven't
so for your heart and soul I'll keep on praying

That you find a Magic Word
and never again feel the same
when you meet that someone
and you feel Their name . . .

Aahhh Sean... such a romantic and passionate man and always retaining the highest level of testosterone, *heavy sigh - lol. I just realized, I haven't heard him say my name in a long time, but my magic word is Gary ;) so many rhyming possibilities, maybe I should write him a poem... Always a pleasure reading you love - XXOO Scholar
