Rize Up

By Mr King

speak it...
not here to stutter...
but to fly like butter.

easy step...
no more mud foot...
ringing heads like King Tut...
back in the cut, out of my rut...

lyric razor gives your mind a trim...
not shady, but still I'm slim.

through Jah, all praise is due to Him...

alley oop pass from Magic to me...
slam dunk down through the rim.

what's the difference between me and you?

i stand for you and me while you stand only for your hood and yourself...
i speak knowledge to all for peace, health, and wealth...

while you've been taught to lie, cheat, and steal...
my Creator said thou shalt not kill...
that LOVE is His Will...
that the peacemakers shall inherit the Earth...
and to love and respect your mother who gave you birth.

so, i've got to be strong and bold but still humble...
i'm not here to disrespect you...
i'm here to honor you.

despite the fact that the people appear to be in trouble...
we are spirits in the material world...
and beyond death we become the breath...

the human race may appear a disgrace...
but in paradise forever after my soul has a place.

for i've spent my life giving myself away...
the devil's demons now i slay...

the youth may have been lead astray....
but my heart opens now creating a golden passageway.

like Noah's Ark...
creative spark...
in the dark...

children of the corn perhaps...
children of the wages of sin...

still they've all got God's gifts to be found within.

and risen up from the Illusion...
we are born to win.

this is my belief...

for those who are the chosen, chose themselves...
and chose to dedicate themselves to all.

for we who choose rise up from the fall...
this is a spiritual call...

all for one...
and one for all.

All the new films out that counter the fear-mongering? Powaqqatsi, the Fountain, Children of Men, Down the Rabbit Hole, of just a few that I've seen. WE are standing at the jump-off point NOW more than EVER!!

  • A former member wrote: Wow, Julia told me to read this. It is one powerful piece of writing, like a personal manifesto, the passion for what you believe in, and your cause for the right of humanity.

  • A former member wrote: And you incorporate the religious aspect.. and it may not seem we have religious unity right now. but in a text of Baha'u'llah (the prophet of Bahai), it basically states that the earth will be destroyed by mankind, and the wise

  • A former member wrote: survivors from each nation would eliminate religion, but then realise that we cannot live without it, as it provides us with a certain spirituality that human beings require to live in harmony.

  • A former member wrote: Which also correlates with why we are even on earth.. it's a heavy concept.. that perhaps we are here to develop spiritually, to prepare us for the next kingdom which is free of all material things, and that may be unfathomable in our world

  • A former member wrote: ..like a fetus in the womb, being nurtured for its birth into this world.. we cannot simply transition into the next world without knowledge of what life can offer us.. maybe.. I love "for those who are chosen, chose themselves". Thank you.
