Tough Love
By Mr King
you no longer are
who i remember you to be
i've known you since you were a boy
but you're trying to use me
this is what i see
and it saddens me
you manipulate
and intimidate
without integrity
you abuse my kindness
and take advantage of my generosity
now to help you
I must refuse
so that you can see
that i am not here for you to use
nor abuse
for you need to learn
that my friendship
is something you must earn

Wow, I can sympathise with you on this one. Someone who I thought to be my best friend just used me as α therapist, used me up, dropped me. Great stuff, love it 10

Friendship is an honor. It is inflexible and should be held at great esteem. Anyone who abuses such a tie is...someone who can't be described without expletives. This is a great work.
