Passive Absorption
By Mr King
This is mastery of the obvious.
Call it simply victory over the ignoramus...
I wrote my prophecy down on paper, put it on the Internet, and became famous.
Deciphering the mystical and mysterious ways of God is one hell of a job.
And I'm here to throw a 95 MPH poetic fastball...
Not an underhanded lob.
But many of you are still in T-ball...
So, I'll make it really easy now for you all!
Spoon feeding you with my delicious poetry...
Passively you'll absorb another lyrical delicacy...
Efficiently fueling the creation of my destiny.
Call me a subtly sarcastic and obviously manic, poetic, spastic, ironic
mystic on the metaphorical yet strangely literal attack!
I come tripped out like Jerry Lewis...
Yet still bringing redeeming words of hope for previously persecuted and
enslaved people like Africans, Native American Indians, and Jewish.
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!
Like Gomer Pyle, I come.
An intelligent man, far from dumb...
Yet sometimes still, I'm Pinky.
And other times, I'm the Brain.
A little bit stupid, a little bit genius, a little bit insane!
Yet I don't let any of it stop me now, for I know?
After the rain comes the rainbow!
And I know that the final destiny of an awakened humanity is Spiritual
Victory.
Maybe one day you'll see my story in a movie...
Read my book...
Listen to my C.D....
Or e-mail me while I'm sitting on a white sandy beach in Hawaii or the
Bahamas with my laptop via your P.C.
In any event...
When my poetry floats like a butterfly...
And stings like a bee...
Then you'll know that my spirit is free!
