The First and the Last
By Mr King
Stir Crazy.../
sitting in Blazing Saddles.../
with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder.../
off my cracked Mad T.V. induced dome, these ragin' hormones.../
feelin’ addicted 2 sex yet must not be a victim.../
lifting weights makin’ me feel the testosterone elevation/
like my mind has only 1 track before ejaculation/
its my party and i'll talk nasty now if i want 2.../
let loose if i need 2.../
get dumb and flip out free now if i have 2.../
still after actin' a fool, if you judge me, well then forget you!/
Christ Vice is love.../
and still risin' 2 the top like the inevitable cream.../
a sexual healin’ dream makin’ half-man half-machine/
ready now 2 go coast 2 coast.../
bread and butter man with my one and only woman, make toast/
breakin’ her off, and sendin' her home 2 see the Highest and the Most!/
Christ Vice.../
spiritual and sexual savior.../
champion survivor behavior.../
use my mind, so i no longer survive only thru manual labor.../
the one who can hip, hop, jazz, rock, roll, and rave.../
bring the world back from total devastation and free the mental slave/
back 2 the drawing board.../
inspired by the struggle, strength, and integrity of my own family, once
again 2 set my inner self free.../
my own shallow and repetitive dead cycles separate from life were killin'
and suffocatin’ me/
still my spirit was born 2 escape from it all and reign victorious thru
simplicity/
seeing it all flashing before my eyes instantaneously/
Jesus Christ had come 2 love and guide me.../
Rumi had awakened me 2 the finer aspects of ecstasy.../
George Bernard Shaw had taught me that all great truths begin as blasphemy.../
Martin Luther King had dreamed it for me.../
Jim Morrison had opened up a door 2 show me.../
Bob Marley had rolled it up and smoked it with me.../
and although i was an iconoclast.../
still they loved and respected me like an Icon/
ha ha.../
i had won/
i was the first and the last/
