"deep in your despairing lair"

By haunted

death in your darkened castle
deep in your despairing lair
walking the corridors with candle
cobwebs nest in your hair

streaks of antique grey
dark hair that matches your eyes
a face of porcelain pale
the ghosts even fantasize

gloomy in all of your grace
in a gown that flows with the night
i call your name in the echoes
you come with your candlelight

our eyes don't say a word
but, the language is understood
we creep to the dungeon below
to coffins of decomposed wood

we close our eyes in death
we slumber in eternal rest
a candle is slowly burning
as the maggots are getting undressed

Wow! Great imagery and flow. That last line though definitely nailed it! Darkness is my niche so I can relate to the wicked ink. Will b/m ... ~Devlin

thank you very much devlin. the dark is easily imagined but, to express it in it's true state is something i've always been attracted to. capturing it is an orgasm haha thanks for reading.
