Zombie Queen

By RubyXero

Faded...
   Drifting intricate webbing
through euphoria
   and this dulled out abyss.

Unresponsive.  to the pull.

"Mom! Hey mom watch this! Look what I can do...
Mooooooom; are you awake?"

Her body feels hot.  Clamy
hearts racing as though she were sprinting for
her life.
But her eyes wander sl o  w   l    y     ,
unseeing as though she were on another plane
completely.                                                                  (Just let me bask in the beauty
of this numbness, if but for just
                                                                                               one moment.
                                                                                                  Mayhaps one (day.
Would a month be too much?)

**but I don't understand.
I just want to play!!
Maybe she could just see ME
once in a while..
Where is she...   anyway..     **

She's infront of her screen again...
Hollowed eyes gazing beyond the wall.
Inspired?                 ...maybe,   this time...
Distracted mostly
uncalculated.
       Missing the point
but trying from every angle.

May I permit. to enquire...
Is it too much passion?           that bulges her lungs
and suffocates her eyes?           ...or the lack thereof.

.
"Mommy you are a princess! Just like me :D"
        "No, darling,.. I'm the queen."

...
"Hey mom!  Can I play outside?
I need some fresh air for my heart.
What you doing mama?  You have to pee?"

.She moves the credit card
away
and covers up the powder..

"Now just give me one minute dear,
                                                                      Mama needs her privacy..."

                          She moves close.
            to shut
and lock
                the door.

Wow, I thought this was going to be something completely different but I love it, brutal.

...this is tremendous & brutal: a woman in the grasp of drugs that make her a zombie & a child left unattended...

oh to be in the zone, but i think what kind of powders under that credit card is what makes or breaks it! i suppose a night of recovery or days from recovery makes the difference in powders. but i loved it, but i dont think you'll ever feel rested on that shit when theres kids that need tending. awesome!
