Everlasting

By RubyXero

In between darkness and light
a place i call my home.
A lush green world
gentle breeze caressing my soul.
My solace.
Peace inhaled and absorbed
with each burst of air.

In exploration
this energy is brilliant!
Enlivening my senses
so I draw nearer.
...what is the cause
of this entriguing pull?

...And so I found him
that day. Right at
the path of eternity.
With stone of onyx.
of sorrow, and of trust.

He bowed and extended
his hand to me. A beautiful
dance of grace.
An invitation...

Fingers entwined together
we journ up to the precipice
as tears fell upon my being.

Wrapped around one another
we shall in this moment share.

...As we plunged into the void.

I love the fantasy-laced imagery. And yes, it is very dream-like. " and we plunge into another world." - Oh my! ;). Loved it

oh beautiful! excellent. i have a lingering taste of sugar and amaretto from reading this. loved the grouping of onyx, sorrow, and trust. this seems to be proof that the sun is always shining somewhere.
