Same as Always

By Scarrzz

If I had a dollar for every time in the past three years that I've said, thought,
or felt "I'm Lonesome" I could easily buy a brick of gold.

Several probably. How does one measure, "continuous" ?

Now I'm so numb, it's just a part of who I am, hiding behind the mask I wear every day, trying to keep from hurting anyone else.

I hate lies, and I'm not particularly fond of myself either.

No escape.

No chance.

Probably never was to begin with.

How cruel life is to make me think I could ever aspire to

that kind of Unity with the one I love.

Honesty and self analysis are never easy to share. Very sad to step into your mind for this moment. These feelings are something I think many of us here can relate to in our own way. Thank you for sharing this.
