that no matter how nice you are

no matter how many friends you have

no matter how long your relationships last
....................
you are really alone with nobody who cares for you

you think your so called 'friends' will always be there?
...................
you really believe that they are loyal to you
.......................
that they wont completely abandon you
.............................
to handle their insignificant issues
..................................
they see that you are drowning
......................................
because this world we live in
..........................................
full of self centered people
...............................................
is synonymous to hell
...................................................
we are forsaken
......................................................
in isolation
...........................................................
forgotten
...............................................................
alone
...................................................................
we are alone.

You just made my Favorites list. That is so plainly true and devastating, it hurts to read it. I do believe that shared true love is the only exception to this, and perhaps the love of a good parent, but other than those exceptions, there is no one else that I can see. Thanks for the insight.
