Greener Grass???

By allenthepope

praying to god for something better
no matter how many times
we think we've finally got it
on the horizon coming up like some brand new shiny - funny
but it looked much greener from the other side...
like maybe I should have stayed in bed…
instead…of jumping that little fence that kept out all that bad stuff
like pain..and love..but the sad of..
it all is that little i couldn't get out..away from all the lonely company that crowds lonely crowds...
but how?...
trust me......crowds can be lonely...
so we jump the rope in scope of a hope that's lonely too...
and maybe this time it wont hurt,
but will cling to a heart with the same lonely hope of no hurt or gloomy overcast drowned by the sky - cracking light of love - screaming beams that seem to get you high on what you want to believe...
but it's just that...
it will deceive us every time and then we wonder why we do this to ourselves every time...
instead of using our brain and doing what's right, we want the hurt to go away tonight...
the grass really never was that green???…
