A Cre-ation for Cre
By KittyStryker
cre
you see beyond the rest of us, i think
your musings float like snowflakes
down, down
and cover our small world with wonder
cre-scent
you were sent to us, i think
some kind of night time goddess
you rise as the day falls asleep
deep slumber
cast gentle glow upon the faces of poets
you guide the lost, give hope to the restless
and shine, comforting
but you borrowed a few arrows from diana
you know how to shoot straight when needed
and the poetry you
cre-ate- i relate
to so many of your words and ways of feeling
you've left me reeling many times
wondering
pondering
what i felt within
i
cre-dit you
as my inspiration
for more than several poems
something about the way
you play with words
and emotions spill in my heart
onto the page
cre
one of my closest friends
and favorite poets
the cre-me de la creme
you've mended my hurts
and listened to my tears
advice given has been advice needed
more than that
your poetry
has been my nightlight
the lullaby
that sings, soft
and lets me dream
for this, i thank you

Cre is no doubt the greatest dark poet. "Your poetry is my nightlight such a fitting description.

You two both have been Inspirations and Saving graces, and I'm glad to see this. As said before it does show your talent, cre's awesomeness, and a wonderful friendship that will never end. Thank you both...how I have missed you all so... -Heather-

truthfully. I really like when poets come up with neat things like this in their poems. It really shows originality, talent, and dedication. I agree with those who think cre deserves this poem. *bows do

I loved the way you did this poem. I love the oringality here, how you got words with cre in em' and placed them in here. But the best part is that their not just some "cool" coincidence. They actually fit

*smiles* I always love poems for Cre. I think they are so well deserved. She is one of the best people here. Who doesn't like chatting with her at 3 AM in the morning about Eliza Dushku or Buffy? Excellent poem, Kitty!

this is my favorite piece of yours, kitty. not because you chose the patron saint of DP as your subject, but because of the simple yet clever word flow and emotion that works so well. your muse was working overtime on this one.
