A world of lies is where we choose to dwell
Forbidden soon to drive a car or train
Lobotomized, we welcomed our new Hell

When Men are meek the Women will rebel
Small consequence; our vacant lives profane
Oblivious: too deeply in the spell

Our scrambled thoughts; in perfidy we fell
Important matters always too mundane
Depressed and sick we die in our new Hell

Automatons, inhabiting a shell
The gift of wires replacing every vein
Oblivious: we thought that we were well
Lobotomized, we welcomed our new Hell
