Vampyre

By Circe Avalon

Midnights Artist
Fears the light
Tainted heart
claims blood right
~*~
His teeth, steels bite
His touch brings death
His heart of lead
His unbleeding flesh
~*~
Must have yours
To replace his own
Must have the soul
To seep from your bones
~*~
Dark Angel of stone
Your pigmentless face
Your spell binding eyes
Your cold lifeless embrace
~*~
Make you a bride
Her soul you will hold
A wraith to huant
A future to mold
~*~
Night liquid wings
The Icarus will race
against the sun or
a mortals embrace?

Some people may tire or vampire poems but this was inspired by a book Called Dark Angel and it's totally different then most vampire books. Except the fact that they drink blood and don't like the sun, This book is wholly different then any other Vampire book I've read to date.

I'll have to look into that book - If it inspired such an awesome write as this it should be good.
