Journal - I Want

By Scarrzz

If there is such a thing as a soul-mate, mine has these traits.

These are the things I crave and need.

To love and to be loved

To be desired and to be shown that I am desirable by actions

To be respected as a man

To care for the needs of the woman I love

To be needed as a provider and a protector

To be adored for each of my best qualities spiritually, physically, and intellectually

To be accepted as I am, faults included,
but encouraged to do my best

To be appreciated for my actions and attitudes

To be lusted after, teased, pursued, and consumed regularly

To be played with, in both simple fun and sex every day and night

To give and to receive both sexual and
non-sexual affection very frequently

To have an equal partner in adventure, both sexual
and in the pursuit of life experiences

To have a mate that shares my dreams as I share hers

To have a mate with desires and fantasies that I can fulfill

To have a mate that is roughly my equal in passion and sensuality

To have a mate that is physically attractive, having self-control and self-discipline

To have a mate that enjoys being sexy, in both attitude and appearance

To have a mate that I am proud of and who takes some pride in being mine

To give all that I am and all that I have, and for it to be enough

and

To have a mate that wants, at least to some degree, these qualities in return

if it is meant to be then love is enough... some just can't see it or don't want to see it... most also think it is all about them... you can't control your partner to the degree that you smother them... love needs to breath in order to grow... i too look for most of these qualities and have yet to find the one..... I agree with most of what you said there, Lilith. I don't want to coerce anything from a mate, just to freely enjoy that we both like walking in the same direction, at least most of the time. * I do very much believe in the concept of a soul mate, but experience has taught me that they are not ordained by fate. There is no such thing as "meant to be" but there is the choice whether to open one's heart fully, and thereby allowing that bond between souls to form. Nurture it and it can grow into something beautiful, but if either neglects it, what should have been flowers becomes a choking vine. * Also, this isn't an all or nothing sort of world. There will be good and bad. Almost any pain or obstacle can be survived unless it comes from within the relationship. - I deeply hope for you to find a person that you can love and that can love you in all the ways you need. Thank You warmaprylrain, You made me smile. I wish the application office was open. When I look inside, the door is locked and the lights are off. It's such a waste when passion is locked up. Maybe someone will eventually break in. Got a crowbar handy ? Scholar

When you are able to talk to each other openly and honestly about important things or about nothing in particular with ease and comfort, everything else you listed just comes naturally. Scholar
