Between the Lines

By Aurora_Light

Words are spoken
Spoken without thought
Thought of without meaning
Not ment when said

Words are open
Open yet unopen
Unheard yet heard
Listend to and forgotten

Words are all this
This and so much more
More to some than to others
Others whose words go unheard

My words were heard
And then influenced
Influenced to a point
A point were I stooped

My words went unspoken
Unspoken and unheard
Yet still I was open
Open to others words

Words can mean so much
So much and still so little
So little that I question
Question each word I hear

For questioning the words is all that is left to this world

For a poet, words are living ideas, that refuse to be meaningless. You are so talented, and your work has taken on a slightly different tone, texture and being...since last I delved into it. I've a strange reaction to this though...it frusterates me.

True, and depressing. I came to think about the single sentence "Keep Talking" Pink Floyd still haunt me with it, at times I realy hate that line. I hate it for trying to be simple, and I hate it for breaking the silence.

But still it isnt to be dismissed .. This poem isnt to be dismissed either. It is straightforward, honest and realy so truthful that it makes me feel a hypocrite.
